Tako avocado salad is a great Japanese side dish served at many izakaya restaurants. The sashimi taco or octopus blends perfectly with the soy lemon dressing and avocado. It is both light and fresh. If you like sashimi octopus you will love this salad. And if you have never tried octopus this is a great way to sample a traditional Japanese cuisine. Sashimi or sushi grade octopus can be found in many Japanese and asian grocery stores. Sushi grade tako is simply octopus that has been boiled.

The sashimi tako blends perfectly with the soy lemon dressing and avocado

Ingredients
- 150 g Tako Pre-Boiled Octopus
- Pinch Salt
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Put a pinch of salt on both sides of the tako.
- Rinse off.
- Dry with a paper towel.
- Grind 2 cloves of garlic
- Combine the ground garlic, 2 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoon olive oil with a pinch of salt.
- Cut the avocado into cubes.
- Juice the lemon and add to the avocado in a bowl.
- Cut tako into bite size pieces.
- Combine tako, avocado, and dressing.
- Salt to taste and serve.
