Carrot Greens Furikake

This furikake recipe uses the carrot greens or carrot tops for a flavorful and healthy topping for your rice.

  • Cut greens from carrots.
  • Wash and darin greens.
  • Chop greens into ½” pieces.
  • Separate the stems from the leaves.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a pan along with the stems, cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add leaves.
  • Once greens are soft add 2 tablespoon of mirin, 2 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 3g of bonito.
  • Serve on top of rice.
