This simple, authentic Japanese recipe for Shiozake Japanese Salted Salmon is one of my favorites. It’s incredibly easy to prepare yet bursting with juicy flavor. Perfectly Broiled Salted Salmon

What makes this broiled salmon so special is its perfect balance of simplicity and taste. Broiling the salmon allows it to develop a crispy exterior while keeping the inside tender and juicy. The result is a dish that showcases the natural flavors of the fish, enhanced just right by the broiling process. Each bite delivers a mouthwatering combination of textures and flavors.

Flavorful Accompaniments

To elevate the salmon, we use freshly ground daikon and ponzu sauce. The daikon adds a crisp, refreshing contrast to the rich salmon, while the ponzu sauce introduces a tangy, citrusy kick. These accompaniments complement the salmon beautifully, making each mouthful a harmonious blend of flavors. Together, they create a simple yet sophisticated dining experience.
