- 500 g Spinach
- 4 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Mirin
Cut spinach in half.
Separate stems from leaves.
Hold bottoms in water for 30 seconds, then place stems in boiling water.
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Place in cold water.
Place leaves in boiling water.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, remove when the color changes.
Place in cold water.
Strain water with hands and create bundles.
Cut spinach into 1” pieces.
Roast 4 tablespoon of sesame seeds on medium high heat, remove when color changes.
Grind sesame seeds.
Add 2 tablespoon of soy sauce and 2 tablespoon of mirin to sesame seeds.
Combine sesame mixture with the spinach.
Serve.
